Frances P. Ryan, Irlandaise aux racines franco-italo-russes a pérennisé ses nombreux voyages à travers le monde par la photographie. Installée à Paris depuis 1983, elle y partage un atelier d’artiste où elle tire toutes ses photos.

Daphne Tengbergen, issue d’une famille de diplomates néerlandais, a bénéficié d’une scolarité francophone à travers le monde. Historienne d’art médiéval, elle se forma ensuite à la sculpture de la pierre. Maniant tantôt le ciseau, tantôt le crayon, voire le pinceau, elle se hasarda plus récemment à la plume.

Clíona Ní Ríordáin, une Irlandaise gaélophone, passionnée de poésie, travaille aux confluences de trois langues européennes.  Elle enseigne la poésie et la traduction à la Sorbonne Nouvelle où elle a  animé des ateliers de poésie bilingue. Elle travaille main dans la main avec des poètes anglophones et gaélophones pour ouvrir leur œuvre à un lectorat étranger.

Frances P. Ryan is an Irish woman with Franco-Italian-Russian roots.  For years she travelled the world, recording her trips with her patient Nikon camera. Based in Paris since 1983, she shares an artist’s studio there, where she develops her own photographs.

Daphne Tengbergen, was born into a family of Dutch diplomats and educated in French lycées across the world.  She initially studied to be an art-historian and later trained as a sculptor.  Equally at ease with the chisel, the
pencil and the brush, she has recently turned her attention to the art of writing.

A native Irish speaker, Clíona Ní Ríordáin teaches poetry and translation at the Sorbonne Nouvelle. She has organized bilingual poetry workshops and readings, helping poets, writing in both English and Irish, to bring their work to the attention of their European counterparts.
